The hermitage currently has 2 resident monks and 2 lay practitioners, from various traditions and walks of life. We support each other's goals of simple spiritual practice and simple living.

Although the hermitage is Buddhist in orientation, we live the simple truth of all the great masters and heartily welcome contemplatives of all spiritual traditions.

The abbots of the Hermitage, Ven. Pannavati Bhikkhuni, and Ven. Pannadipa Bhikkhu, are ordained in both the Theravadan and Mahayana (Chan) traditions. In addition, they are closely aligned with spiritual teachers and friends from several Buddhist traditions.
